Saturday the Muskoka Bears Jr C travelled to Orillia for their 1st Round series. A very good game early, till the Bears ran into some penalty trouble in the middle frame and the Terriers capitalized with 3 power play goals, and pulled away to a 6-2 win.
Jack Seney on a great setup from from Liam Cardiff, and Cardiff himself got his 1st playoff goal for the Bears in the loss.
Sunday, the series shifted to Bracebridge to the MLCC, and again, was a tight one early as Bears and Terriers were even at 2, as Wil Muszynski had both goals for the Bears, only to see Orillia’s dogged determination to score 2 goals to go up 4-2 going into the 3rd period. Orillia tallied two more in the 3rd to make the final 6-2.
Series resumes in Bracebridge Wednesday at 830 at Muskoka Lumber Community Centre.
