Future Muskoka Bears Players and Parents
Exciting times as the Muskoka Bears embark on our 2nd season here in Bracebridge.
We’ve worked very hard this year in our 1st season, and are looking forward to our 2nd season. In conjunction with the largest fan base in the Carruthers Division, our large loyal sponsor base, and our second to none volunteer army, Muskoka is a premiere destination for a Junior Hockey, with a new state of the art Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, and a large dedicated Junior hockey dressing room. We are a not-for-profit organization, community owned and run.
Our vision is to provide opportunities to players wishing to further their hockey journey and/or providing a stepping stone to their future and dreams; whether that is working in the trades, or furthering their hockey career.
Key Attractions to Joining the Muskoka Bears Junior C Hockey Club in 2025-26:
  • Brand New Arena – The Muskoka Lumber Community Centre – Located in downtown Bracebridge, seating capacity 1,072, large fan base that exceeded 10,171 fans in 25 home games, highest attendance in the Carruthers Division.
  • Large sponsor support with over 86 sponsors of all levels.
  • Dedicated Coach travel to away games
  • Nutritious meals on away game days provided.
  • 4 team medical training staff, including a Dr, Massage therapist, and chiropractor on staff.
  • Experienced Junior Hockey Coaching staff
  • Apprenticeship Program – Located in Muskoka, our club has access to some of the most talented tradesmen and women who have partnered with us to provide players with the unique opportunity to apprentice in any number of fields whilst still pursuing Junior C hockey.
