Muskoka Bears are thrilled to sign 2006-born defenceman Sawyer Kane from Port Colborne, ON, Sawyer brings a gritty, hard-nosed style of play to the blue line. The 6’ D Man served as Captain of the Kingston Wranglers during their inaugural USPHL Premier season in 2024–2025, demonstrating strong leadership on and off the ice. Before joining the Wranglers, Kaner developed through several respected programs, including the Port Colborne Sailors, Southern Tier Admirals, St. Catharines Falcons, and APA Screaming Eagles. His game is defined by physicality, defensive responsibility, and a relentless drive to compete. Heading into the next phase of his career, Kaner is focused on making an impact—bringing grit, determination, and a team-first mentality with a hunger to win. Welcome to the Lumber Yard Kaner!!

  The Muskoka Bears are excited to announce the signing of North Central Predators AAA U18 grad Jake Robertson. The 6’4” defender played his minor hockey growing up in Innisfil before moving on to AAA with the Preds. Bears fans will enjoy watching this smooth skating blue liner this season as Jake takes his game to the next level.
